Amidst the socio-economic tension surrounding the future of the steel-works, Rosie, Hamish and I took advantage of the long strech of beach that nobody was talking about. Whilst in full swing of its Industrial routine, we relaxed in its shadow, surfing, eating and taking pictures. To anyone else, this scene may have appeared disappointing. The waves were small, and we were surrounded by a thick mist, but in fact it created the perfect setting to take beautiful photos and enjoy the benefits of a deserted beach.
